The project aims to serve ward no 1- 4 of Sarada Municipality, Salyan in Province No. 6. Targeted population is 14,779 for design year 2035. The project bears augmentation of four stage pumping scheme as a total lifting head 562.00m, collection chamber, pumping stations, pumping mains, RCC ground reservoirs of 100, and 50 m3, 4.77 km of Transmission network 31.24 km of distribution network, electromechanical component with pumps and accessories, generator, operator house, boundary wall, bio-engineering designs as live stone masonry, turfing work, office building, guard house, public toilet etc.
The project has been implemented with WUSC 5% and TDF 25% loan & GoN 70% to the water supply component under ADB loan. The Project is based on Community participation and COST RECOVERY PRINCIPAL.
