Tamsaria: The project is located at Tamsaria Municipality in Kapilvastu district in Western Development Region. The services area of the project covers ward no 1to 9 Tamsaria. The total household in the project area is 2827 and 15028 population. The project consists of 3 # of OHTs 450, 200 and 100 cum RCC OHTs, 6 deep borings, Pressure treatment units Electromechanical component as pump, transformer, generator etc., office buildings and guard house, 74.8 Km pipe length, 2 public toilets etc.
The project has been implemented with WUSC 5% and TDF 25% loan & GoN 70% to the water supply component under ADB loan. The Project is based on Community participation and COST RECOVERY PRINCIPAL.
