Detailed Engineering Design of Secondary Towns Integrated Urban Environmental Improvement Project (STIUEIP), ADB Loan No-2650 NEP (SF)

 

Project Description

Detail Survey and Design of 15.216 km length spigot type of R.C.C. Hume pipe and HDPE pipe sewers construction with Manholes, sewer inlets, Trunk Mains and secondary sewers works etc. Storm Water Drains: Detail Survey and Design of 53.461 km length brick masonry and R.C.C. storm water drains with outlets. Wastewater Treatment Plant: Detail Survey and Design of10 MLD capacity pumping station, Anaerobic Ponds (2 Nos.) Facultative Ponds (2 Nos.), Drying Beds, Sludge Drying Bed (8 Nos.) Sump well for pumps, Grit chamber with 2 channels, workshop, guard quarter, generator house, electricity transmission line, submersible pump and site development works etc. Road and Lane Improvements including Road Reinstatement Works: Detail Survey and Design of 36.3 Km length road and lane improvements and reinstatement with all necessary black top works etc. Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) :Detail Survey and Design of ISWM system that includes: Site development and preparation of ISWM site, Entrance Driveway and Main Service Roads and Storm Drainage System

•Sanitary Landfill Cells area including the expert layout, preparation and installation of the following:

Earthen Bunds (Primary and Secondary)

Sanitary Landfill liner system

Leachate Collection, Treatment and Removal System

Leachate Collection Chamber

Gas Collection and Management System

Surface Water Management Collection and Disposal System

•Leachate Waste Stabilization Ponds (Anaerobic, Facultative and Maturation) and Removal (Outfall) System

•River Training Works

•Waste Resources Processing Center (WRPC) Building

•Composting Center, including Interior Service Road and Shed for Storage of Recyclable Waste at Composting Center

•ISWM site support buildings and facilities including,

Site water supply system (incl. tube well, borehole platform, 5 M3 HDPE Elevated Water  Tank, Water supply piping system for process and domestic use)

Site sewerage system ( septic tanks and soak pits included for individual buildings)

•Improvement and development of Environmental Monitoring Wells (BH-1 and BH-2)

•Development of Service coverage area and Disposal Routes.
