The project was constructed for 24 hr water supply system with loop design and Cost-Recovery principle.
Itahari Municipality Project: The project was divided into three sub projects: Itahari –A, Itahari-B, Itahari-C. Itahari-A includes rehabilitation and improvement of existing system and Itahari-B,C consists of new system. Total HH in project area was7760 and survey population was 38,913.The total no of house connection was 7022.Supplyand installation of 5022 number of new water meter and replacement of 2000 meter. The project consists of two nos. of 450 m3 OHT, four new deep tube-wells of depth108-120m and improvement of existing two deep tube wells, Six nos. of pumps installation,2 nos. of transformer,3 set of generator 100KVA, 91.99 km distribution and main pipe system(Consists of DI pipe size350-200mm of 9.8Km length),Three nos. of Water treatment plan 75 lt/sec,1200M storm Drainage, public toilets-1 nos, pump house-4 nos, Guard house -3 nos., office building-3 nos, Compound wall-2nos etc.
Belbari Town Project: Total HH in project area was2653 and survey population was 14220.The total no of house connection was 3000 and supply and installation of 3000 water meters. The project consists of one nos of 450 m3 OHT, four new deep tube-wells of depth108-120m ,Four nos of pumps installation,1 nos of transformer,1 set of generator 100KVA, 29 km distribution and main pipe system(Consists of DI pipe size350-200mm of 4.6Km length),one nos of Water treatment plan 75 ltr/sec,1200M storm Drainage pump house-2 nos, Guard house -1 nos, office building-1 nos, Compound wall-1nos etc
