The Project is under Ministry of Health. The proposed 300 bedded hospital building is located in Chandannath Municipality, Jumla, Jumla district, Karnali zone of Nepal. The total plinth area is 2078 sq.m. and the total floor area is 10,070 sq.m. The proposed hospital building is 6 storied. The proposed hospital is designed to meet the requirements of a modern hospital. There are 6 different departments. The building form is designed to respond the extreme climate condition of Jumla. Certain features of green technology such as solar heating system- solar panels (120KW/Hr), solar lighting system-solar PV cells (540 nos.), cavity wall system to maintain thermal comfort and sound insulation, double glazed energy efficient window panes to reduce heat loss are incorporated in the design.
