Cultural Heritage Conservation
Nepal is a country with rich geographic and cultural diversity. Although being small in terms of area, geographic regions of the country stretching from flat terai belts to high mountains have people with diverse ethnic groups along with different religious, social and cultural contexts. Marked by the glorious history with unity in diversity, various forms of religious architecture have also flourished in the country. The presence of different religious World Heritage Sites within Kathmandu valley and in Lumbini signifies the importance of religious architecture in the country. Since its establishment, Building Design Authority Pvt. Ltd. has been working in the field of study, planning, design and construction supervision of religious building like temples, monasteries, meditation halls and commune centers. It has also been involved in the preservation, restoration, renovation and conservation of these built cultural heritages and monuments.
